Key topics of the training
Key topics of this training include, firstly, a holistic view of the subject matter as well as the .neurobiological basic needs"of man according to Klaus Grawe, with the associated emotions and value systems."
Are rudimentary basic physiological needs If this condition is not met, the entire body is unable to optimally maintain and regulate the processes of all eleven body systems.
At the level of basic psychological needs Imbalances, through the activation of various bodily systems such as the central nervous system or the hormonal system, lead to shifts throughout the entire body. The more psychological needs are met, the healthier the person.
If basic needs are not met or value systems are threatened, the body reacts with increased arousal, the first stage of stress.
Unpleasant emotions such as anger, fear, or sadness are therefore important indicators of unmet needs and values.
Together in the training, we look at holistic processes as well as body reactions to internal and external stimuli and jointly design practical, preventive and strengthening measures for individuals and teams.

Frequently-asked-questions (FAQ):
Can I offer coaching or training sessions independently after completing the training?
During the four days of online training, you will learn extensive basic knowledge on the topics of basic psychological needs, primary emotions and human value systems.
In addition, you will undergo various self-experiences using worksheets and exercises, as well as group feedback, which you can then pass on in individual sessions or in groups, either online or in person.
Based on this knowledge, you should be able to independently create your own content and formats.
Should you have any further questions after the training, we will be happy to assist you.
Can I become self-employed after my training?
In principle, anyone can become self-employed at any time, either as a side job or as their main occupation. For freelance work, all you need to do is register with the tax office. For commercial activities, you are also required to register a business or, alternatively, a small business.
Whether self-employment is a sensible and worthwhile endeavor depends on which services you offer, to which target group, at what price, and what revenue you aim to generate. We would be happy to discuss this with you in a consultation.
Am I allowed to treat mental disorders after completing my training?
In Germany, a license to practice medicine is required to treat mental disorders.
This qualification can be obtained either through the study of medicine or psychology with further training as a medical or psychological psychotherapist, or via a second educational path with training as a so-called "alternative practitioner for psychotherapy" followed by an examination before the health authority.
May I use the training materials afterwards?
Absolutely !! ;-)
You may use the provided postcards, exercises, worksheets and other documents in both analog and digital form; however, we would like to point out that the documents are subject to copyright.
Therefore, we urge you to use the documents only in their original form, including the logo and associated copyright notice, and not to suffer from any sudden source amnesia. Thank you for your understanding.
The PowerPoint slides presented during the training will be provided to you as a PDF after the training – please use these slides as inspiration for creating your own presentations.
Is the certificate officially recognized?
The term "certificate" is currently not protected, therefore the majority of certificates issued by further education providers are unfortunately not officially recognized.
Certificates from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), the Chamber of Skilled Crafts (HWK), or TÜV with a high practical component – usually after extensive company training or training with internships – are certified and subject to nationwide standards.
The prestige of an individual certificate therefore depends on the quality of the provider, the lecturer, and the specific content.
After completing the training, am I automatically a trainer at the academy?
Das Team der Akademie für mentale Gesundheit besteht aus freiberuflichen Trainer:innen in ganz Deutschland mit hoher Kompetenz und umfangreicher Berufs- und Lebenserfahrung.
After completing the training, you are not automatically part of the team; however, at the moment we are happy to take on trainers with the appropriate competence.
