Keynote speeches on mental health
Larger companies regularly offer their employees the opportunity to learn extensively about health topics at work during health days or even entire health weeks.
Mental health is also playing an increasingly important role here.
Quick introduction to the topic
We also offer some of our lectures in English.
English has become the corporate language, especially at larger corporations and universities, therefore we also offer a selection of our lectures in English.
Some of our trainers speak fluent English due to their many years of experience working in large companies and/or extended stays abroad.

Mental health – the meta-competence of the 21st century
Experts estimate that in just 20-30 years, up to 50% of all jobs will be replaced by robots and artificial intelligence.
A large portion of the population already earns their living using their brains. However, our brains function much like computers – if the RAM is overloaded, a system crash is imminent. Symptoms such as chronic fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and declining memory often lead to a vicious cycle of errors, even more work, and even more symptoms.
This presentation will show you how to strengthen your mental health, take preventative measures, and act in an emergency.

Let's talk about mental health – when the brain gets sick
Mental disorders are still mostly stigmatized in our society – yet the brain is involved in all processes of the human body and its health is therefore a central issue.
This lecture will cover how to recognize the first signs of mental disorders in yourself and others, how mental disorders are currently classified, how to best prevent them, and how to act in acute cases.
With a sound scientific background, this lecture aims to openly discuss diseases of the most important organ in the human body and thus break taboos.

In this seminar you will learn the basics of mental disorders and get an overview of how you can help yourself in the first step and when it makes sense to consult an expert.
From burnout and depression to anxiety disorders, you will gain a new understanding of the origins, symptoms, and, above all, current therapeutic methods of psychological changes, which primarily lead out of the victim role, thanks to current findings in neuroscience.
Current impacts of the Corona pandemic and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine are also examined here.
Space for individual concerns
During or after each keynote speech, all participants have the opportunity to ask the speaker individual questions, so that the presentation takes place in a dialogue.
We offer keynote speeches as an open event for multiple companies and different participants, or individually for a single company by arrangement.
At the bottom of the page you will find our current open appointments.

Psychological stuff for skeptics – mental health viewed scientifically
Do you think this psychological stuff is only for wimps and burnout is only for lazy people?
Great – if you are still curious about the human psyche and are more easily convinced by statistics and studies than by the whining of your office neighbor, then this seminar is just right for you.
In this seminar, we will examine, from a very pragmatic and primarily scientific perspective, exactly what happens in the body during stress, which bodily systems are thrown out of their natural balance, and which secondary illnesses are typical. Those who have bravely persevered this far will be pleased to learn more about prevention and first aid.

Stress – what really happens in the body
In our current society, stress is more prevalent than ever – but what exactly is stress?
In this presentation you will learn how stress is defined, what stress is actually good for, and how you can recognize more quickly that you or other people are stressed.
You will receive an overview of initial symptoms of stress, such as increased irritability or high blood pressure, and what secondary illnesses, from sleep disorders to heart attacks, can result if you do not counteract them.
In addition, you will receive some tips on how to better cope with stress and which short exercises can help.

Burnout – Myth or Disease?
It was long considered a "manager's disease" – but burnout has nothing to do with specific professions or the amount of work.
Burnout has many causes, and increasingly, young people are affected.
If you increasingly observe feelings of being overwhelmed, decreased performance, and lack of energy in yourself or others, this presentation will certainly provide you with some valuable insights. You will learn more about warning signs and triggers of burnout, as well as some tips for prevention.

Digital Burnout – Staying Healthy with Technology
Many people work almost exclusively in front of computers and other small computers such as tablets or smartphones.

Every action serves to fulfill needs; unpleasant emotions are indicators of unfulfilled needs such as anger or fear, while pleasant emotions are indicators of fulfilled needs and lived values.
When people exhibit interesting behaviors in specific contexts, it's worth taking a look at the underlying goal.
A better understanding of one's own motives and those of the other person avoids conflicts and ensures a more harmonious coexistence overall.

Appreciation works wonders
Our society thrives on the collaboration of diverse individuals, each contributing their unique talents and abilities. In doing so, we are always guided by our individual motivations and strive to fulfill our personal values.
When people are motivated according to their abilities and goals, they can even surpass their own expectations. If the desired success fails to materialize, motivation also declines.
Therefore, conscious appreciation is not only essential for consistently good performance, but also for harmonious coexistence.
In this presentation you will learn exciting background information about our reward system and how you can even create a new feedback and error culture in your company through appreciation.

Appreciative communication
Appreciation is a fundamental human need deeply rooted within us.
Valuing oneself is the basis for good access to one's skills, personal growth and self-confidence.
Experiencing appreciation from others motivates us, makes us more satisfied and fosters a sense of connection.
Those who treat the people around them with genuine interest and respect enjoy esteem and trust, avoid conflicts, and thus create a win-win situation.
This keynote speech will give you an overview of the basics of "appreciative communication" as well as four strategies for successful communication.

Nonviolent Communication – a language that connects

The new addictions – how digital seducers make us dependent
They are kSmartphones have become an indispensable part of everyday life – approximately 75% of Germans own one, and among children and teenagers, the figure is even higher, exceeding 90%. Add to that the use of tablets, laptops, and other computers, which, thanks to constant internet access, offer us endless possibilities. We are the "Homo Digitalis" generation.
But what is very practical on the one hand can also be dangerous if we overdo it. New addictions such as gambling addiction, shopping addiction, or social media addiction are on the rise, especially among the younger generation. In this seminar, you will learn precise definitions, current statistics, and, above all, how to prevent these addictions and how to take action in acute cases.

The Wonderful World of Emotions – Why We Feel and Decide
They are the spice of life, yet they often get in our way:
Our emotions!
Pleasant and unpleasant emotions are important indicators of unmet needs and must be strong enough to trigger an impulse. They can motivate or block us. When emotions are excessive, they can present a significant obstacle to even minor problems, manifesting as fear, anger, guilt, or shame.
This seminar will give you an overview of the basic human emotions and their guardians, as well as approaches to emotion regulation.

Resource management – mastering tasks calmly
